*Bo-Ree-Ko* Hard to say, Easy to Drink! A generous, expressive Right-Bank blend of aromatic Atlas Peak cab franc and deep, intense Carneros merlot. Intriguing black cherry and plum aromas, expansive midpalate of rich pomegranate molasses. Just a deliciously dangerous wine... TRULY a crowd pleaser delivered by a bumper crop of optimally ripe fruit from the incredible 2012 vintage. And a fun label. UNFILTERED (pretty crystals on the cork). Way outperforms expectation.
2023 edit: Just so good. No wonder my neighbors drink a case every month. Highly versatile food wine--seafood to short ribs. Or just relax and sip. I LOVE THIS WINE. Aging so well. Retailers won't carry a wine without critic's scores, my mistake not to send in after bottling, so it's your luck there's still inventory!
