Our first release, Wine Enthusiast 92 and a Wine & Spirits YEARS BEST, Cabernet Franc leads this layered, complex Bordeaux-style blend. Intruiging aromatics, rich black stonefruit mingling with graphite, fine tobacco, and a savory minerality, Dead ringer for a Right-Bank Bordeaux. With exposure, this built-to-age blend unfolds dense layers of deep black-fruit flavors, with espresso and bittersweet cocoa lingering on a mouthwatering finish. A special and complex wine which, like a great conversation, continues to evolve... 912 cases produced.
2022 TASTING: Stunning. Deep, lush vibrant red-black-blue fruit, expressive aromatics, expansive mid-palate, long finish. Just beautiful at 10 minutes open. Still going strong... will age many more years.
